Is Your Time In? (Dashboard)
Give your engineers a little “nudge” to record their time
Put this on a big screen in the engineering area, and turn “time recording” into a game where your engineers can compete. Time entered is updated throughout the day, and “stack ranked” based on who has the most time entered today. Hours recorded are compared to the hours required for each engineer and color-coded (yellow & red) if they come up “short”. (NOTE: The entry for “today” is NOT color-coded, as many firms don’t require that the engineer record their time DURING the day).
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
It’s simple: You cannot MANAGE what you cannot MEASURE, and you cannot MEASURE time that has not been recorded in ConnectWise!
Member (#.##) – Engineer name (you can select WHICH engineer(s) to display). The number in parentheses to the right of the engineer name is the number of hours required for THIS engineer for each day (as defined in the Member screen in ConnectWise).
Today – The TOTAL hours that this engineer has recorded for the current date. You can see the detail on ANY of the hours categories by clicking the number of hours to open a detail screen, which looks like:
Yesterday – Shows the TOTAL hours that this engineer has recorded for the prior business day. Entries are color-coded as:
- YELLOW – Achieved 80 to 99% of “required hours”
- RED – Achieved less than 80% of “required hours”
7 Days- Shows the TOTAL hours that this engineer has recorded for the prior 7 days. Color-coding rules apply
28 Days- Shows the TOTAL hours that this engineer has recorded for the prior 28 days. Color-coding rules apply
